Dublin Regulation

Dublin regulation

The Dublin Regulation is used to determine which Member State is responsible for examining an asylum application. In accordance with the Dublin Regulation, a refugee coming to Europe must seek protection in the first safe country. If a foreign national has been granted a visa to another country, has a residence permit in another country or has applied for asylum in another EU country on the way to Sweden, he or she may have to go back there. Public counselling should be ordered for children without guardians under the provisions of the Dublin Regulation.
